ABOUT THE PROJECT

It’s a book… or possibly books. But really it’s so much more. We have big plans for afterall; a podcast, a game, a comic book… maybe an anime. The skies the limit.

But what is the story about? Its a complex tale…

But really, Afterall is, in essence, the story of Reddy, a seventeen-year-old girl living in rural America who suddenly and unexpectedly finds herself dead. What follows is an adventure akin to The Wizard of Oz, in which the afterlife unfolds as an upside-down version of our own reality, replete with everything dead and forgotten — including a full complement of ancient gods and goddesses, all pitted against each other.

In the midst of a strange dream before dying, Reddy unwittingly sets into motion the complicated and winding plan of the last Titan. With the existence of the afterworld hanging in the balance, Reddy and her friends embark on a quest to find Ophelia, Reddy’s previously dead sister — and to warn the reclusive Lord of Afterall of the dangers that seek to destroy all of creation.

The short illustrated work Afterall: Into the Void was released at DragonCon 2024. This chapter from the novel was presented in the form of a short, illustrated graphic work and featured original artwork by Rogue du Pont, Julia Mosler, and Dominique Kennedy.
